Future Posting allows the posting of Transactions, i.e. Invoices, Credit Notes & Adjustments into the next month (or Period). Transactions posted in this way will be stored away and automatically posted into the system when you run either Purchase or Sales Period End Update. This means that if you're not in a position to complete a period you could continue to enter transactions for the following month, e.g. continue invoicing customers.
