SureSet produce a high-quality resin-bound paving system that can be used for footpaths, pedestrian areas, driveways and many other outdoor or indoor applications.

SureSet needed a replacement for their ACT software which was inflexible and very expensive to upgrade. They were also only using it for handling sales, while a complex manual system was used for the production and installation side of the business. This consisted of a whole wall of clipboards, each relating to a job, and all the information was stored on that one clipboard.

As they were growing, this system was getting increasingly cumbersome and difficult to manage. What’s more if someone wandered off with a clipboard, no-one else knew what was going on!

Using the Checklist and Project functions in our Customer Relationship Management software, they have been able to computerise tracking of their production and installation. Now, they no longer have a wall covered in clipboards and mountains of paperwork.

The CRM system is used throughout the business, not just sales and has greatly improved efficiency and working practices. In the sales department it has completely changed the way sales calls and callbacks are handled. Before, callbacks were often missed, but now the efficiency of the sales operations has increased significantly. Director Jim Newton, who managed the CRM project, said,

"I have got the sales girls using Cream, and they are loving it!! At the moment we have the sales office and the operations office using it and all is moving forward brilliantly."
