GRCC are a registered charity and have been working in rural Gloucestershire since 1923. They provide advice and information on housing, transport, environment, play facilities, planning and development within the parishes of Gloucestershire. They also obtain funding for and manage various projects throughout the County.

They were previously using Sage Line 50, but Michael Chivers, the head of GRCC, felt he had reached the limit of Sage’s capabilities and wanted something that gave him much more flexibility and control. This included being able to present their financial statements in a way specific to charities where they have to show accounts for each source of funding.

Chancellor gave them what they needed, while the Job Costing module allows them to control the various projects that are running.

They also use Cream CRM software throughout the organisation with the Checklist system allowing them to control and monitor the strict procedures involved in community groups applying for project funding from the GRCC.

As a charity, we gave them an 80% discount on the normal value of the software.
