Rick Robinson from Rend Lake College contacted us about Chunks after finding our Web site using Google. He was looking for a program to create a knowledge base for his students that would help them to learn the high level of technical expertise involved in setting up networks.

Initially he started using the single-user version of Chunks, and he wrote back to us after he had started using it: “I wanted to let you know I received Data Chunks and have installed it on our instructor's station. I was very impressed how easy it was to set up. I have not even looked at the manual that was sent with it. I have already started entering information and used the information in class to help a group of students troubleshoot a router. It is exactly what I was needing for the class, and I am integrating it into all my computer networking classes.”

He has recently upgraded to the network version and took the opportunity to tell us how he was getting on using Chunks: “We are starting advanced classes in networking this semester, and I am planning on expanding the knowledge base to include router commands and troubleshooting for those classes. Chunks has made my life a lot easier, and I am really looking forward to using the network version which should work even better for our use in the classroom.”

He will also be providing feedback for us on the development of our new SuperChunks knowledge management package.
