Many of you will remember the fantastic Vulcan, one of the RAF’s V-Force bombers. ‘Vulcan to the Sky’ is a charity that is raising funds, backed by the National Lottery, to make Vulcan XH558 airworthy again – It will be the only Vulcan flying in the World.

‘Vulcan to the Sky’ previously had several databases and spreadsheets, which were used to keep track of donations and their mailing lists. They had well over 20,000 records and managing them was becoming extremely difficult.

We explained what Cream could do to help them and it was exactly what they needed. However, one of the benefits was that we could write a custom program to combine all their existing databases and convert it into Cream, which saved them having to re-enter all their records. It also allowed fast, easy access to the records, and we modified Cream to allow them to post donation amounts into the system and display the total on the main screen.
