Benchmark Software, a UK-based developer of business
software for small and medium-sized enterprises
(SME), specialising in accounting and payroll
software, has been short listed for this year's
Accountancy Age awards in the category of ' Small
Business Software Package of the Year'.
Benchmark is one of only four companies on the
shortlist. The short listing is for Benchmark
Software's accountancy product, Chancellor, a
powerful accounting package suitable for any type
of small to medium-sized business.
Chancellor includes features such as sales order
processing, multi-company, stock control and sales,
purchase and nominal ledgers. Additional modules
include foreign currency, job costing, production
shortages credit control and purchase order processing.
Now in its 30th year, Accountancy Age is recognised
as the voice of the industry and the associated
Accountancy Age Awards are renowned for recognising
and rewarding excellence across the entire accountancy
business. Simon Harvey, managing director for
Benchmark Software, said, "At Benchmark everyone
works as part of a team to constantly exceed our
customers' expectations of accountancy and business
software, so I speak on behalf of us all when
I say that it is a great privilege to be recognised
by the leading industry award."
The category winner will be announced at the
Accountancy Age Annual Gala and Presentation Evening
on Wednesday 12th November at Battersea Park Arena,
London, which will be hosted by a major celebrity
presenter and attended by over 800 people from
the accountancy profession and related industries.
